On 14 March 2023, the UK Medicines regulator approved an application to reclassify the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. When marketed asCialis Together(tadalafil 10mg), it will be a ‘P’ (pharmacy) medication, and so available ‘over the counter’ in pharmacies – see. This follows the 2018, ‘P’ classification of (sildenafil 50mg) which has been available OTC, without a prescription, since then.

This decision is good news for men’s health …. Erectile dysfunction can be a debilitating condition, so it’s important men feel they have fast access to quality and legitimate care

Dr Laura Squire, MHRA’s Chief Officer for Healthcare, Quality and Access

Unfortunately, there is a strong black market in the UK for ED medicines, which are often unlicensed or counterfeit. UK Border Force and the MHRA seize millions of pounds of these fake products from criminals annually. This new classification of tadalafil 10mg will enable men who suffer from ED to obtain it safely from a local pharmacy.

Sanofi, the drug manufacturer, is expected to launch Cialis Together later in 2023. Cialis Together will be available to purchase in pharmacies without a prescription by men over 18 with erectile dysfunction. Cialis Together tablets will contain 10mg tadalafil and the maximum pack size will be 8 tablets. Other doses and pack sizes of Cialis and tadalafil will still be available on prescription through doctors and specially trained pharmacists. Before purchase in a pharmacy there must be an assessment with a pharmacist, who will check that Cialis Together is appropriate and safe, or whether consultation with a GP is necessary.

What does this mean for patients?

Men suffering with ED will have another treatment option with the convenience of purchasing it in their local pharmacy, including pharmacies found inside supermarkets (eg. Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s). The pharmacist will ask some health questions, may check blood pressure, and will advise on treatment with Cialis Together or Viagra Connect, or the need to consult a GP. Pharmacies usually have a private room for such discussions.

Cialis Together is a 10mg tadalafil product for use at least 30 minutes prior to anticipated sexual activity. Its effects can last. It is not recommended for daily use. The maximum recommended dose of Cialis Together will be one tablet in 24 hours. Prescription Cialis and tadalafil will still be available at different doses.

Dr Fox welcomes the wider access to ED medication for men that Cialis Together classified as a ‘P’ OTC medication will provide. We at Dr Fox are aware of the difficulties men have in discussing ED with their GPs and in accessing ED medication. We know that Cialis is effective and safe for most men and this change provides another option for obtaining ED treatment. Pharmacists are health professionals who are able to give ED advice but they will also know when to refer men who would benefit from a doctor’s assessment. ‘P’ medicines can also be supplied on prescription, and we will offer Cialis Together, when available, alongside our other competitively priced ED products.

When a man takes a Viagra, it's important to be aware that he may not be able to have sex. That's why a man is not allowed to have sex with a woman if they've been married for years. The FDA has long denied claims to women who take Viagra, but there's been no legal fight in the past three years, the FDA says. There are also concerns that Viagra may be associated with sexual problems in some men.

A new study was conducted to determine if the drug Viagra causes sexual side effects in men who have taken the drug, according to theJournal of the American Medical Association, who was involved in the study.

The study involved over 200 healthy, middle-aged men and women who took either Viagra (sildenafil citrate) or a placebo for one year.

The women took Viagra and reported a decrease in sexual desire and arousal and decreased lubrication when they began taking the drug. A small percentage of the women took the placebo. The researchers analyzed the results and found that men who took Viagra had less sexual desire and arousal, and this effect was not seen in women who took the placebo.

Viagra is available on prescription.

In the study, the women also reported changes in sexual desire and arousal. They were also asked about a possible link between the drug and a more serious form of sexual dysfunction, called sexual dysfunction called erectile dysfunction.

According to the study, in a small number of the women who took the Viagra, the men also reported decreased lubrication and a decrease in vaginal lubrication. The women also reported less sexual desire and arousal and decreased lubrication and increased sexual response.

Viagra also appears to cause a delay in the ejaculation reflex and an increase in the length of sex. It could also reduce the amount of time in which a man has to climax and increase his ability to have sex.

Viagra and erectile dysfunction are not the same thing.

The researchers said the men had not been treated for erectile dysfunction and they did not find any significant differences between the women who took Viagra and the men who took placebo. They said the men also reported a decrease in the severity of their ED and in the amount of time they had to have sex.

The researchers said Viagra can increase the chances of getting a man's erection, which can be dangerous. "If Viagra is linked to a higher incidence of erectile dysfunction, it could be related to a decrease in sexual arousal or a decrease in sexual desire, or both," the study authors wrote in a statement to theWashington Post.

If Viagra is associated with a greater incidence of ED, the researchers said, it could be linked to a reduction in sexual desire and arousal. "It could also be related to a decrease in the length of sex," the study authors wrote.

The study was not part of the study and could have been conducted under a doctor's supervision. Viagra is not approved by the FDA.

The researchers were not involved in the study, they said, and they do not recommend prescribing Viagra. The study is ongoing and could not be used for research purposes.

Boots Pharmacy has launched its own version of Viagra. It will be a cheaper alternative to Viagra, which has been a mainstay of men's health in the UK.

The new launch, made possible by a partnership with Boots, has been hailed as a major boost to the service and the condition of men.

The launch of the new service comes at a time when health authorities across the UK are aiming to tackle a growing public health problem that has been linked to erectile dysfunction (ED).

The new service is designed to give men the confidence to take charge of their sexual health and tackle the problem with the right level of care. Boots will now offer the same level of care in the shop where the product is sold.

“Men often ask about the benefits of taking Viagra as men often ask about the cost of the drug in comparison to other treatments,” said Dr Ruth Brauer in a statement.

“This is another example of the way medicine is often used to improve the quality of life for men.

“This service marks a major step forward in the fight against ED and will be welcomed by many men as a whole as a result of this innovative service.

“This service is a great addition to the NHS and is a good example of the quality, safety, and effectiveness of the men's health team at Boots.”

Boots has been a trusted name in the healthcare industry, and we are delighted to supply Viagra to the NHS and other healthcare systems globally,” said Andrew Shearer, Boots Chief Executive. “We look forward to making this new service even better for men's health.”
